We prioritize identifying and exploring new trek routes that take us through remote areas, steering away from typical tourist paths to allow our guests to discover hidden gems and experience lesser-known cultures while minimizing the impact of tourism on popular destinations.
Alongside this, we regularly fund and organize tree plantation drives, environmental awareness, and education campaigns, and promote Buddhism, farm and nomadic stays, as well as yoga sessions in rural Ladakh communities.
We encourage guests to support the local economy by purchasing locally-made products such as food, apricots, handicrafts, etc. Meanwhile, our experienced and environmentally conscious staff diligently collects non-biodegradable materials such as cans, polyethylene, etc. left behind at camping and touring sites to minimize our collective ecological footprint in Ladakh. Furthermore, we are actively involved in community development in rural areas, as many of the villages still lack basic infrastructure.
